A Perfect Blend of Shade and Function
The homeowners in Pine Mill Ranch (Fulshear) wanted something different from the typical solid patio cover. They loved the look of natural wood and wanted filtered sunlight rather than total shade. They also needed a cooking area for casual entertaining.
What We Built
- Cedar Pergola: Naturally rot-resistant western red cedar with a warm, natural finish.
- Attached Design: Connected to the home for a seamless transition from indoor to outdoor.
- Compact Grill Station: Built-in grill with stone base and granite counter.
- Storage Cabinet: Single access door for grilling tools and supplies.
- String Light Hooks: Pre-installed hooks for easy string light installation.
The cedar was sealed with a UV-resistant finish that will protect the wood while allowing it to develop a beautiful patina over time. The homeowners can re-seal it in a few years if they prefer to maintain the original color.
